No. We vacuum your carpets before we clean. This is one of the most important steps in our cleaning process.
Keep children, pets, and regular traffic off the carpet for 6-12 hours. Carpets can be lightly used immediately after cleaning by wearing white socks, clean rubber sole shoes, or booties we provide on request. Please wait 24 hours before removing Styrofoam blocks and foil tabs under your furniture to prevent rust or furniture stains on your carpets. Some carpets may feel slightly damp for up to 24 hours, depending on the type of carpet, weather, and soiling conditions. This is normal and will not cause any problems. After cleaning, set the thermostat between 68-70 degrees and open a window at each end of the home to allow airflow.
The quick answer is no, but in some situations we can move light furniture when a customer isn't able to do it themselves. Generally, our customers prepare their homes by moving the furniture they want the carpets cleaned under.
Yes. We use environmentally safe, responsible cleaning products. Our products are safe for children, pets, and the environment.
Absolutely. Berber is a weave, not a particular type of fiber. Berber is simply a type of loop construction carpet. The carpet fiber may be olefin, nylon, wool, or a blend. Berber requires a more thorough cleaning than other carpets. A “flushing” action needs to get under, around, and through the loops. Some companies have a problem cleaning Berbers and often charge more, but we don’t.
Yes.. There are special products with a lower ph that we use when cleaning wool. We also use lower pressure, lower water temperature, and take special drying precautions.
Our company is experienced in all methods of carpet cleaning for your home or office.. A carpet cleaning company should never be chosen based only on a cleaning method. A good job or a terrible job can be achieved with any method. However, for residential wall-to-wall carpeting, truck-mounted hot water extraction is recommended. Properly done, hot water extraction will remove more soil and spots. It will also sanitize the carpet, whereas other methods cannot remove contaminants (like pollen, pesticides, detergents, exhaust, etc.) Regardless of what other companies advertise, carpet manufacturers recommend hot water extraction.. For texture retention warranties, some even require it.
Low moisture or encapsulation cleaning might be a better fit than steam cleaning in some situations. The machine we use for low moisture cleaning is called the Brush Pro. The Brush Pro has counter-rotating brushes that agitate and lift the carpet pile. This machine works well on residential and commercial type carpets. The Brush Pro removes more pet hair and dry soil than normal vacuuming can remove. It’s a super quiet machine, and the carpets dry in 20 – 30 minutes in most cases. If you have a specialty fabric that requires low moisture or need carpets in a residential or commercial property dried quickly, then low moisture cleaning will fit the bill.
With the experience and expertise our company has, we are known for getting out difficult spots. If a spot is removable, we have what it takes to remove it. Our vans are stocked with the best specialty-spotting agents available in our industry. However, please understand that many things can cause a permanent stain. They include but are not limited to colors, like red, yellow, blue, or green dyes.
If a spot can't be removed with our cleaning process, the technician will point it out and explain it's likely a permanent stain. If a spot comes back after the carpet has dried, give us a call. This is why we have a 30 day, “no-fault” warranty. We’ll come back out and re-clean the spot at no charge.
